Mapping network drives
Occasionally Windows loses it's Network mapping and the error message
"Master file Unavailable" appears on the Workstation
To remap do the following
Right click on network neighborhood on the Windows desktop.
(Windows XP Users) In the Start menu, right-click on My Computer and select Map Network Drive... ...
left Click on "Map network drive"
The Letter "D" or next available drive letter appears, this is the drive that the server is being mapped to. (later insert this letter at the System file screen, data location1 and data location2)
in the box below the letter designation, insert the path
\\SERVER\T or whatever name your server is i.e. \\myserver\t
in the box below the path put a check in "reconnect at logon"
click OK and path setting is complete.
Upon completion
Press <F5> for screen 2
Is this a Network Server: _ "Y" = server "N" = Workstation
Distributed Network: _ "Y" Is correct response
CdRom Location: _ Insert CD rom letter here
